The First Epistle of Saint Paul the Apostle to Timothy in Riffi Tamazight (Tarifit)

This is the First Epistle of Saint Paul to Timothy. It is translated here into Riffi Tamazight of Morocco (Tarifit). This is the fifteenth book of the New Testament. It is a letter the apostle Paul wrote to a young man named Timothy, one of his helpers, who preached the Gospel among believers in Jesus Christ who lived in the city of Ephesus. Saint Paul instructs and advises Timothy about his work among those believers and about the structure of the church.

In this epistle we have one of the earliest hymns of the church. This hymn is speaking about our Lord Jesus Christ. These words are found in 1 Timothy 3:16 (CSB 2017): And most certainly, the mystery of godliness is great:

He was manifested in the flesh,
vindicated in the Spirit,
seen by angels,
preached among the nations,
believed on in the world,
taken up in glory.
